Standard Limited Warranty Coverage: Vamei provides a limited warranty for the products it sells, effective from the date of original purchase. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Vamei’s standard warranty periods are as follows: Snowboards are covered by a 2-year limited warranty, and snowboard boots and bindings are covered by a 1-year limited warranty, each calculated from the original purchase date. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and requires a valid proof of purchase and is not transferable. If you cannot provide proof of purchase, we may use the product’s manufacture date to establish the warranty start date. During the applicable warranty period, Vamei will repair or replace, at our option, any product with defects in materials or workmanship. Vamei’s sole obligation under this warranty is, at our discretion, to repair the defective product or replace it with the same model or a product of equivalent value. If we determine that a defect covered by this warranty cannot be repaired or replaced in a reasonable time, we may elect to refund you the original purchase price of the product minus a reasonable amount for depreciation based on the product’s use. Vamei is not liable for any incidental losses or expenses resulting from your inability to use a product due to a defect.

How to Obtain Warranty Service: If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact Vamei Customer Service or an authorized Vamei dealer as soon as possible to request warranty service. When submitting a warranty claim, you will need to provide a copy of your proof of purchase, the product’s serial number, and a detailed description of the issue (including photos) to help us evaluate the problem. If your claim is approved, we will provide you with instructions for returning the product or obtaining repair service. Do not send your product to Vamei without authorization, as this could result in the product being lost or returned unrepaired. For products that need to be shipped to us for inspection or repair, Vamei will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to you for approved warranty claims. However, if our inspection finds that the issue is not covered by the warranty, you will be responsible for any inspection fees and the cost of shipping the product back to you. Vamei’s authorized technicians have the final authority to determine whether a product issue is due to a manufacturing defect and covered by warranty.

Warranty Coverage and Exclusions: This limited warranty covers only product failures or damage resulting from defects in manufacturing, materials or workmanship. It does not cover any of the following:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual wear and deterioration of a product’s appearance or performance due to ordinary use, aging, or consumable parts wearing out is not covered. For example, minor scratches on a snowboard’s surface from regular use, graphics fading from sun exposure, oxidation or rusting of metal edges, and normal wear of boot laces or Velcro straps are all considered normal wear and tear. Such conditions are natural results of normal usage, do not affect the product’s core functionality, and are not covered by the warranty.
  • Misuse or Accidental Damage: Damage caused by improper use, neglect, misuse, or accidents is not covered. This includes, a snowboard breaking or suffering structural damage from striking objects like boxes, rails, or rocks; damage from using the product contrary to its instructions, such as using it in unsuitable conditions, or damage resulting from accidents and external events such as drops, collisions, fire, or water damage. These types of damage are not manufacturing defects, and repair or replacement under warranty will not be provided in such cases.
  • Unauthorized Modifications or Servicing: Any damage resulting from modifications, disassembly, or repairs not authorized by Vamei is excluded from coverage. For example, if you drill holes in or alter the shape of a snowboard, replace binding components with non-approved parts, modify the product’s electronics, or have it repaired at an unapproved service center, any resulting damage will not be covered. Likewise, damage such as indentations or cracks in a snowboard’s base caused by using incorrect mounting hardware or improper installation is not covered. Always follow the product’s instructions for installation and maintenance, and contact a Vamei professional or Vamei customer service if you have any questions.
  • Use of Non-Vamei Parts or Accessories: Damage caused by using parts or accessories not made or endorsed by Vamei is not covered. For instance, using incompatible third-party bindings on a Vamei snowboard that causes damage to the board, or attaching non-Vamei accessories to a product, such as adding an unauthorized attachment to a snowboard boot that leads to structural damage, will void the warranty for those issues.
  • Commercial or Rental Use: This warranty is intended for normal use by individual consumers only. Products used for commercial purposes or subjected to unusually high wear (for example, equipment rented out to customers or used in a commercial training or rental program) are not covered for damage or wear resulting from such use. High-frequency, high-intensity use can accelerate product wear or failure, and any resulting damage or performance issues in these contexts are not covered by our consumer warranty.
  • No Unauthorized Warranty Extensions: Apart from what is explicitly stated in this policy, Vamei has not authorized any dealer, agent, or employee to make additional warranties on our behalf. Any oral or informal warranty promises or representations , unless confirmed in writing by an authorized Vamei representative, are not binding. Vamei’s warranty obligations are limited to those described in this policy and in the written warranty information provided with the product.


Duration of Coverage for Repairs or Replacements: Repair or replacement of a product under this warranty does not extend or restart the original warranty period, except where required by law. Any product repaired or replaced by Vamei under the standard warranty will be covered only for the remaining duration of the original warranty period. For example, if your snowboard was 18 months old at the time it was replaced under warranty (with a 24-month original warranty), the replacement board will be warrantied only for the 6 months remaining of the original warranty. Similarly, if a product is replaced, the ownership of the original item transfers to Vamei and the replacement product becomes yours, but the warranty for the replacement continues only for the balance of the original term. (In jurisdictions where any extension of warranty is required by law for replacements, we will, of course, comply with such laws.)

Extended Warranty Service (Care Plan): In addition to the standard warranty, Vamei offers an optional extended warranty and premium service program called the Care Plan. The Care Plan is available in three levels: Basic, Care, and Care Plus. You may opt to purchase one of these plans at the time of your product purchase to gain additional warranty coverage and exclusive benefits. The features and benefits of each Care Plan level are as follows:

  • Basic (Free): The Basic plan is automatically included with every Vamei product at no extra charge. Under the Basic plan, your warranty coverage is the same as the standard limited warranty — namely, a 2-year limited warranty for snowboards and a 1-year limited warranty for boots and bindings. The Basic plan does not extend the standard warranty period or include additional services, but Vamei will still provide reliable after-sales support as described in this policy.
  • Care (Extended Plan, Paid): The Care plan is a paid upgrade that can be added when purchasing a snowboard for an additional fee of $80 (USD) + tax. The Care plan extends the warranty period for your snowboard from the standard 2 years to 4 years. (The warranty period for boots and bindings remains 1 year.) In addition to the extended warranty, Care members receive several perks:
    • A welcome kit (valued at approximately $40) when you join, which includes useful accessories such as a protective snowboard sleeve.
    • Priority customer support: Care members’ inquiries are given priority, and we commit to responding to your customer service requests within 48 hours.
    • Exclusive offers: Care members will periodically receive invitations to special Vamei promotions, such as early access to seasonal sales, new product sneak peeks, and other exclusive offers.
  • Care Plus (Premium Plan, Paid): Care Plus is our top-tier service plan, available for an additional $150 (USD)+ tax when purchasing a snowboard. The Care Plus plan provides a 2-year warranty for your snowboard (the same duration as the standard warranty), but it introduces a one-time trade-in benefit during that period. Between the 5th and 15th month after your snowboard purchase, a Care Plus member has the option to trade in their snowboard for credit toward a new Vamei snowboard or equivalent gear:
  • The trade-in credit will be at least 60% of the original purchase price of your snowboard, to be applied toward one new snowboard or an equivalent product from Vamei.
  • To qualify, the used snowboard must be sent to us for inspection and be confirmed to have only normal wear and no structural damage. If approved, you will receive a trade-in credit code to use on your new purchase. The new product must be purchased through an official Vamei channel, and the credit can only be applied toward Vamei products (no cash alternative).
  • Once you use the trade-in option, the remaining warranty coverage on your original snowboard ends, and your new product will have its own warranty (standard or with a Care Plan if you choose to purchase a new plan for it).
  • In addition to the trade-in benefit, Care Plus members receive a deluxe welcome kit (valued at about $100, including premium items such as a high-end snowboard bag), highest priority customer support with responses guaranteed within 24 hours, and invitations to exclusive events such as new product launch events and members-only discounts, providing a premium ownership experience.


Plan Terms and Conditions: Care Plan benefits take effect on the date the plan is purchased and is tied to the specific product (identified by its serial number) for which the plan is purchased. The benefits apply only to that product and are not transferable to other products or other people. Once purchased, the fee for a Care Plan is non-refundable. If you choose to cancel or opt out of the plan before it expires, no refund will be provided. The extended warranty coverage and services offered under the Care Plan are available only in the United States and Canada. If you are outside the United States and Canada, different service terms may apply or the plans may not be offered. To use the trade-in benefit under Care Plus, you must contact Vamei customer service to obtain authorization and instructions before sending in your snowboard. You will need to ship your board to the designated location for inspection with the shipping cost for sending in the board being your responsibility. If the board is found to have a qualifying defect that is covered by our warranty, we will reimburse the shipping cost; otherwise, you bear the cost of shipment. After inspection and approval of a trade-in, we will provide you with a discount code or credit to use toward your new purchase. Care Plan members are expected to use their benefits in accordance with this policy and any guidance provided by Vamei. If a member is found to be abusing the Care Plan (for example, by misrepresenting product conditions or otherwise violating the terms), Vamei reserves the right to terminate that member’s Care Plan benefits without refund.

Limitations and Ineligible Products: Please note that Vamei Kids series products (children’s models) are not eligible for the Care or Care Plus plans. Children’s products come with the standard limited warranty only and cannot be covered by extended warranty or trade-in programs, due to the different usage patterns and replacement needs for children’s gear. Additionally, no Care Plan (Basic, Care, or Care Plus) will cover damage or issues that result from improper use or any scenario described under the “Warranty Coverage and Exclusions” section of this policy. In other words, even if you have purchased a Care or Care Plus plan, if your product issue falls under one of the warranty exclusions, such as damage from misuse or normal wear and tear, we will not provide free repair, replacement, or trade-in for that issue.

No Lifetime Warranty: Except for the time periods explicitly stated in this policy, Vamei does not offer any form of lifetime warranty on its products. While some other brands might advertise “lifetime” warranties, Vamei currently makes no such promise. We believe that the warranty periods we provide, and the option to extend coverage through our Care Plan are sufficient to cover the vast majority of product quality issues under normal use. If you encounter a problem with your Vamei product after your warranty has expired, we still encourage you to contact us. We may be able to offer repair services or a discounted upgrade to a new product as a courtesy, at our discretion.

Other Provisions: This Warranty and Repair Policy is an integral part of Vamei’s sales terms and, together with applicable consumer protection laws, is intended to safeguard your rights as a consumer. In the event that any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory provisions of local law regarding product warranties or consumer rights, the requirements of local law will prevail to the extent of the conflict. Any matters not expressly addressed in this policy shall be governed by Vamei’s general User Terms (Terms of Use) and the instructions and safety guidelines provided with the product. Vamei reserves the right to interpret and administer this policy. However, nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies you may have under applicable law. By purchasing Vamei products or using related services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Warranty and Repair Policy. Vamei remains committed to providing you with high-quality products and services, and we thank you for your trust and support.
